Located on the historic square in downtown Jacksonville, Alabama, The Taming of the Ewe is the region's finest yarn store. Choose from wools, cottons, acrylics, linens, and novel yarns such as soy silk® and bamboo. There is also a large selection of books, patterns, and knitting magazines.

Taming of the Ewe offers skill building classes on Fridays and Saturdays such as beginning knitting, beginning crochet, beginning spinning, intermediate knitting, sock knitting, purse knitting, baby blankets, shrugs, etc. Come by the store for a monthly schedule or click here to download one.
